REUNION 2006 BRANSON, MO
It is time to plan for the next reunion. At the 2004 reunion in Silverdale, WA it was decided to hold the reunion in Branson, MO November 8 thru12, 2006. The reunion headquarters will be the Radisson Hotel Branson.
Hotel accommodations are $88.00 per night plus tax, currently set at 11.475% or $98.00. Rooms are either with two double beds or one king bed. There are also Leisure Suites with one king bed at $159.00 per night or Presidential Suites at $179 per night available. These include smoking and non-smoking rooms.
There are eight (8) handicap rooms available. Those with special needs please advise the hotel when you make your reservation. They will do their best to accommodate you. For those desiring to arrive early or stay after the reunion, these rates are effectived depending on availability.

A reservation may be secured with a major credit card or with the first nights deposit. Cancellation must be made before 6:00 p.m. of the date of arrival or you forfeit your deposit or a charge to your credit card will be made including tax for one night.
The cut off date for room reservations is 11 October 2006. Any reservations made after that date are subject to availability and if the group rate is not available, prevailing rates will apply.
It is far too early to present to you a registration fee for the reunion. Menu cost for 2006 are not yet available. As soon as they are, I will update you on that cost.
At this time I would appreciate it if you were to let me know your intentions to attend this reunion. The time frame coincides with Branson’s Veterans Week celebration. There will be many veterans groups in town for this and the activities available will be plenty to enjoy. The program for that celebration will be forthcoming about October 2005.
Also, please advise the beverage and mix preferred. This way I can begin stocking the mix to bring to Branson.
I ask you to share this info with any 610 Shipmates you know. Also, if you or any of the Shipmates have an EMAIL address, please advise me at jbe@pa.net. I will enter your address in the Roster. This letter will arrive approximately two years before the reunion. It is planned that way so you can make your plans sufficiently ahead to attend. This is already shaping up to be a well attended reunion. Don’t miss it!
